pillar kids

welcome to pillar kids!

Pillar Kids Ministry is the safe space for our kids to know and love Jesus– through Biblical truth, spiritual formation, and loving encounter. Our age-centered classes from toddlers to 5th grade teach foundational truths in each developmental stage, rooted in love and truth. As we partner with families our hope is to nurture a faith that is grounded, lasting, and joyful in every season of life.

curriculum: The Gospel Project

At Pillar Church, we use The Gospel Project, a Christ-centered, chronological Bible curriculum that helps children see the unified story of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. Each lesson points to Jesus and emphasizes how the gospel shapes all of life. Through engaging, age-appropriate teaching with activities and crafts, we seek to help children grow in understanding God’s Word and be formed in the truth of His redemptive story.

Rachel Lee

Rachel Lee grew up in San Diego and has more than 10 years of experience serving children in a variety of settings, including public schools, private schools, and children's ministries across several states. After spending two years overseas teaching as a missionary, she developed a deep passion for partnering with families, equipping volunteers, and creating engaging, Christ-centered environments where every child feels valued, loved, and encouraged to know and follow Christ.

Rachel holds a Master of Education from UCLA and a Master of Arts in Biblical Exposition from Talbot School of Theology. She moved to Houston with the Pillar launch team alongside her husband, Daniel, and their daughter, Abby. She currently serves mainly as the children’s director at Pillar Church and loves worship and teaching as well.

When she's not serving in ministry, Rachel enjoys discovering great pho and food, spending time among nature, and traveling with her family. She also likes playing a good round of Super Smash.
